The Xerox Dorado was a high performance ECL personal workstation developed at PARC as a follow on research machine to the Alto. Programming environments on the Dorado included Interlisp-D, Cedar, and Smalltalk-80. The famous Smalltalk demo seen by Steve Jobs and others from Apple was done on a Dorado.
