SGI IRIS

The IRIS was a series of 68000-based computers using custom LSI for the graphics pipeline called Geometry Engines. There were three series of machines. The 1000 series was a terminal, the 2000 based on the 68000 processor, and 3000 series based on the 68020. The windowing system on the IRIS was called MEX (Multiple Exposure).
